Kappy's Cafe

One of my workmates always had his coffee catch ups at this place, but aside from going once for a quick take away coffee, I hadn't really paid it much notice. One of my friends was raving about their range of warm and cold drinks, including a different iced tea every day, and when I went back with her so she could grab a drink one day after lunch, I was amazed by the shelves upon shelves of various loose teas. A book on the counter grabbed my eye that time, and when I got hungry mid-morning yesterday and the dingy place across the street told me they were cash only, I wandered over to Kappy's. The generously portioned ham & cheese breakfast croissant was more than satisfactory, and so I decided to head back for lunch, after seeing a daily special of chicken fesenjan. I've been reading a couple of fictional books with Persian recipes in them, and I'm keen to try a few, so it was perfect timing, and the meal was absolutely gorgeous. I'll be going back soon I'm sure, and when I get a teapot (mine is still in the US) I'll get some tea as well. An additional bonus, they have an all day breakfast menu, and this may very well be the one place in Adelaide where I can trust a serving of eggs benedict to be worth the price!
